Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
Child Safety Standards
Verified Rishta (operated by Verified Match Ltd) is an adults-only matrimonial and matchmaking service. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the standards and measures we maintain to keep children safe, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
1. Adults-only service
Verified Rishta is intended solely for adults aged 18 and over. Persons under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from creating an account or using the service. We verify the age and identity of our members, including document and selfie verification, and we remove any account we identify as belonging to a minor.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
We prohibit, and act immediately against, any content, conduct, or communication that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or abuses a child. This includes CSAM, grooming, enticement, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to solicit or share such material. Violations result in immediate account termination and reporting to the relevant authorities.
3. Prevention and detection measures
- Identity and age verification for members (government ID and selfie checks).
- Human review and moderation of reported profiles, photos, videos, and messages.
- Tools that allow members to block and report other users.
- Prompt removal of accounts and content that breach these standards.
4. How to report a child-safety concern
If you encounter content or behaviour that may involve the abuse or exploitation of a child, please report it immediately:
- In the app / on the website: use the report or block option on the relevant profile or conversation.
- By email: info@verifiedrishta.com
We review every child-safety report and take action without delay.
5. Reporting to authorities
Verified Match Ltd complies with all relevant child-safety laws and reports suspected child sexual abuse and exploitation to the appropriate national and regional authorities, including:
- The National Crime Agency (NCA) and its CEOP Command in the United Kingdom.
- The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).
- The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, where applicable.
- Local law enforcement as required.
6. Designated point of contact
Our designated point of contact for child-safety and CSAM prevention matters can be reached at info@verifiedrishta.com. This contact is able to respond to enquiries about our child-safety practices and compliance.
7. Updates
We review and update these standards regularly to reflect legal requirements and best practice. Continued use of Verified Rishta constitutes acceptance of these standards.
